Hudson is 1 month old! I love this little one to pieces. He makes me a better person, all around. Something about a newborn makes you stop and ponder about the true meaning of life and above that- the many blessings we have. It's absolutely amazing the tenderness they bring to your heart. At one month old- Hudson definitely has a personality! We joke that he is either awake crying, eating, or sleeping! Rarely an in-between for him. Crazy thing is, even during the crying spouts he's just the sweetest thing! Only babies can have that affect that's for sure!
At 1 month old Hudson:
-drinks 3-4 oz every 3 hours
-takes 3, 2-3 hour naps a day
-wearing 0-3 month clothes (still a little big!)
-is a night owl and won't go to sleep until 11:30 or 12 pm (usually fussy from 9-12 pm)
-sleeps 3-4 hours between feedings at night.
-belly sleeper (why have all my kids been belly sleepers?)
-not a fan of his car seat.
-not a huge fan of a pacifier- I think he would be if he'd learn how to keep it in- I've bought every kind and this one he sucks the best so far!...
Better luck next month for a better picture! He wasn't happy and the picture isn't in that great of focus. It seems like every time I get the camera out he decides he's not happy after all! Poor little guy. In his defense we have had a pretty rough patch. Friday I came down with mastitis, hard and bad! Had to recuperate enough by Saturday to shoot a wedding and on Sunday was so dang tired from it all! Thank goodness for moms. My sweet mom came to my rescue and took Hudson for the few days. She was planning on watching him on Saturday while I shot the wedding... but I don't know what I would have done Friday with out her help for sure! I literelly didn't get out of bed most of the day. And poor Logan, who turned 6 on Friday, didn't have much of a celebration. After having cake at Grandma and Grandpa Keele's he asked me if I felt better. I told him I didn't, and he said, " Well you should soon because I wished for you to feel better when I blew out my candles." Soooo sweet! I could still break down and cry for missing his big day. :( Good thing he's young and a little goes a long ways with him. I think he did have a good day even though I didn't get to do my big plans!!
