i did it! i woke up at 6:15 to go for a walk/run (i can't run the whole thing!). today starts the first day of my wellness challenge. i'm already fighting with myself and the junk food cabinet, but so far i've won the battles. my legs feel like jello still and i have crazy shin splints. the thing i loved most about my walk/run is the sun shining in my face on my way back up the hill as i kept my eyes shut for a distance. it was refreshing and nice and i feel like it's possible for me to do the same thing tomorrow.
